In transit, Mescal extended a hand to Zendaya, which she either overlooked or tactfully declined, resulting in Paul suspending his arm respectfully in the air near her body for the entirety of their journey to the stage.
Upon reaching their destination, Paul looked at her and let out a small giggle, perhaps acknowledging the surreal embarrassment of being unintentionally snubbed by Zendaya.
