Their union was sanctified on the eleventh of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ninety-two, and they remained united in holy matrimony until the unfortunate demise of Christopher Reeve on the tenth of October in the year two thousand and four.

Despite the debilitating effects of a severe spinal cord injury Christopher Reeve sustained in a horse-riding incident in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ninety-five, 

Dana Reeve displayed unwavering loyalty and devotion to her beloved husband by providing him with both physical and emotional sustenance throughout his rigorous rehabilitation journey. She remained a stalwart support to him, through thick and thin, until he eventually passed on.

Furthermore, in the wake of her husband's tragic demise, Dana Reeve maintained her strong commitment to the cause of spinal cord injury research and treatment. She selflessly dedicated her time and resources to raise awareness and support for this noble cause, even as she struggled with her own personal health challenges. 

However, fate dealt a cruel blow when Dana Reeve was also struck down by lung cancer, leading to her untimely demise in the year two thousand and six.
