Michelle Yeoh, the 60-year-old Malaysian actress, has been making waves in the entertainment industry lately, especially after her remarkable performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once, for which she has received over a dozen awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, making her the first Asian actress to achieve this milestone.
Yeoh has several exciting projects in the pipeline, including Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Avatar 3, which keeps her at the top of her game.
Jean Todt, who is the United Nations’ Special Envoy for Road Safety, is currently Yeoh’s partner. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the FIA Foundation for the Automobile and Society, according to his official bio. Todt has an impressive resume, having started his career as a co-driver in a world championship rally in 1966, and then went on to become the Sporting Director at Peugeot.
Afterward, he joined Ferrari Racing and worked there as a general manager for two years before being appointed CEO in 2006. In 2009, Todt became the president of the FIA, Fédération Internationale de L'Automobile, and stepped down in 2021.
Yeoh and Todt met in Shanghai in 2004, according to Town & Country, and they first crossed paths during a promotional event for Ferrari. They have been seen together at F1 races in France and the United Kingdom. In 2005, Yeoh and Todt got engaged, and as of now, they have not officially tied the knot. They have been too busy to plan a wedding, but Yeoh hinted in her interview with Town & Country that they were thinking of getting married in 2022.
Yeoh and Todt do not have any children together, but Todt has a son named Nicolas with his former wife, who is also involved in the motorsport world.
Before her current relationship with Todt, Yeoh was married to Hong Kong entrepreneur Dickson Poon from 1988 to 1992. Poon is currently the executive chairman of his Hong Kong-based company, Dickson Concepts, and co-founder of D&B Films Co., Ltd. Yeoh also had a relationship with a cardiologist named Alan Heldman, to whom she reportedly got engaged in 1998, but they separated in 2000.
